Facing the Giants

On Sunday mornings at New Life we are talking about "Facing Life's Fears with Faith." We are using the story of David as a backdrop for this entire message series, and his battle with the giant Goliath. One of the questions that we are asking is, what are the giants that you are facing these days?

God is doing some cool stuff in my heart as of late. He's leading me to some new things and I am quite excited. I have this desire to go where He wants me, and this week as I began to attempt to move in that direction I discovered a giant in my path. One of the giants that I'm facing is the use of "my time." Colossians 4:5 says that we are to "redeem the time" and use it for God's glory. As I hit this roadblock of a giant this week I began to go through the painstaking processs of evaluating my schedule and finding the things that I need to sacrifice for the sake of Christ and His kindgom and God's glory. I am asking God to help me move into His direction and am beginning to walk in this new place.
